Orchestrate multi-repo workspaces in seconds.
Parallel. Deterministic. Blazing fast.
An open-source, multi-threaded workspace management engine written in Rust. Clone, synchronize, categorize, and execute batch operations across hundreds of Git repositories concurrently with declarative manifests.
Built for Multi-Repo Engineering Teams
Solve repository sprawl, out-of-sync branch states, and fragmented multi-service developer environments.
Parallel Async Cloner
Clone or fetch dozens of upstream repositories simultaneously using an asynchronous Rust thread pool with automatic connection pooling and rate-limit mitigation.
Corralfile Manifests
Define your entire developer workspace in a clean `Corral.toml` file. Specify remote URLs, target directory hierarchies, tracked branches, and setup hooks.
Workspace Exec & Status
Run arbitrary shell commands (`git status`, `cargo test`, `npm audit`) across all managed repositories in parallel, collecting formatted output in a consolidated dashboard.
Install via Cargo in Seconds
Corral is distributed as a standalone CLI binary and an embeddable Rust library for custom developer platform workflows.
# 1. Install Corral CLI via Cargo $ cargo install corrallib # 2. Initialize a workspace $ corral init
# 3. Synchronize all repositories in parallel $ corral sync
# Output: [INFO] Loaded 34 repositories from Corral.toml [INFO] Fetching 34 repos using 8 worker threads... [SUCCESS] All 34 repositories synchronized in 1.42s
Questions? Answers.
How does Corral compare to Git Submodules or Google Repo?
Unlike Git submodules, Corral does not lock your parent repository to specific commit SHAs, nor does it create detached HEAD states. Unlike Google Repo (Python-based XML), Corral is written in 100% safe Rust with simple TOML/YAML manifests, blazing concurrency, and zero external runtime dependencies.
Does Corral support private repositories and SSH keys?
Yes. Corral integrates transparently with your existing SSH agent, credential helpers, and GPG signing keys. It never intercepts or stores private tokens on disk.
Can I use Corral in CI/CD pipelines?
Absolutely. Corral includes a dedicated `--ci` non-interactive flag with deterministic exit codes, JSON output formatting, and shallow clone optimizations (`--depth 1`) for high-speed automated build pipelines.
